MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minneapolis police are investigating a homicide after a man in his 30s was found critically wounded inside a vehicle in the Whittier neighborhood on Friday night. Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 2000 block of Third Avenue South after reports of gunfire.
Police and emergency responders tried lifesaving measures, but the man died at the scene. As of the latest information, authorities had not announced an arrest.
What Police Found
Officers found the man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. The shooting was reported in south Minneapolis, in an area that includes residential and commercial traffic.
Investigators have not publicly identified a motive. They also have not released details about any possible suspects.
