Why a Mind-Blowing REVERSE Revival Day Rockabilly Jive Dance Challenge? I am dyslexic and recorded the Rockabilly Jive starting to the left instead of to the right. I have previously recorded it as the Rockabilly Stroll with mini mouse in the popular right foot start. Check it out in the comments below. I loved the 1940’s revival day version so much I decided to keep it and see who is up to the challenge.

The different styles of line dance that emerged from rockabilly are a testament to the genre’s versatility and creativity, with key figures like Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins contributing to its development. From the classic “Rock Around the Clock” to more modern dances like the “Tush Push”, rockabilly line dance has a wide range of styles and rhythms to offer.
A significant turning point in the rockabilly line dance scene was the resurgence of interest in rockabilly culture in the 1980s, with events like the “Rockabilly Revival” bringing together dancers and musicians from all over the world to celebrate the music and dance of the 1950s. This revival helped to introduce rockabilly line dance to a new generation of dancers and paved the way for its continued popularity today. The rockabilly line dance scene has continued to grow and evolve, as seen with the iconic 80’s revival line dance Rockabilly Stroll. Created by an anonymous dance teacher in London, sources say it was created as a dance for the ‘Rockin’ scene as an alternative to the rather ‘square’ original 1950’s stroll. This stroll can be found by many names. It can be found as the Jive Stroll, Sexy Kitten Stroll, and The London Stroll. The scene has also become more global, with rockabilly line dance communities springing up in countries all around the world
