HEBRON, IN — A woman was killed and another person was wounded in a shooting Saturday night at an antique shop in northwest Indiana, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies were called to Karmic Sunshine, in the 2900 block of West 181st Avenue in Hebron, around 7 p.m. after reports of shots fired.
Authorities said officers found a woman who had been shot and killed inside the shop. A second victim, a 24-year-old woman, was shot while trying to run from the store. Investigators believe the shooter, identified as a 62-year-old man, died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
