MISSOULA, MT — An 88-year-old Kalispell man was taken into custody Wednesday night after police responded to a reported assault with a weapon, according to the Kalispell Police Department.
Officers were called to the 500 block of 10th Street West around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 19. Police said the man, identified as Roger Grilley, was safely taken into custody after a large law enforcement response.
Police say the incident is still under investigation
Authorities said the case remains under investigation. No additional details about what led to the response or what weapon was allegedly involved were released in the initial report.
Police also said there is no ongoing threat to the community tied to the incident.
